These poppers couldn’t be easier to make and are easy, quick
and tasty – perfect party food!
Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 packet Smash
Mixed herbs
Popper fillings (SW meatball, laughing cow cheese cube, caramelized
onion and cheese, cheese and bacon etc etc)
Beaten egg to glaze
Warmed passata to dip
Fresh basil chopped to decorate
Method:
Make up the smash with less water than the packet suggests,
you want it to come together in a ball but not be wet
Add some mixed herbs to the mash ball and make sure they’re
evenly distributed throughout
Put cling film on the work surface, place the ball on mash
on the far left and fold the cling film over.
You’re essentially creating a pocket to roll it out like you would pastry
to about 3mm thickness

Using a cutter cut out mash ‘rounds’
Put your choice of filling in the middle and bring the round
together to form a ball. Roll in your hand
to firm it up
Add your choice of filling |
Coat with beaten egg to brown and cook at gas mark 6 or about 180 for 35 minutes or until
golden brown. Serve immediately with the warmed passata dip
