OK, these sound too good to be true but it’s
totally the case! The oats are your HEB
and the flavours are to your taste
It’s basically the baked oat muffin recipe
but with one egg, so I’m not exactly reinventing the wheel but if I can have waffles
for breakfast and stay on plan, well it’s got to be worth it
Ingredients
40g oats (HEB)
1 egg
1 tablespoon syn free sweetener
1 muller light (any flavor you like)
1 teaspoon essence (to work with our yogurt
flavor choice)
Method
Blitz your oats into a powder using a food
processor or similar (you do not have to do his, when I broke my blender I used
them whole, it’s ok but the waffle is MUCH better if you blitz)
Turn on your waffle maker to warm up
Add the sweetener, yogurt and flavorings
(some suggestions below)
Pour the batter into your waffle maker and
cook until browned and crisp
Serve immediately with fresh fruit

Flavour ideas
Bakewell: Almond essence and cherry
yoghurt - syn free
Bounty: Vanilla yoghurt with
chocolate sprinkles, coconut essence (if you add chocolate drops you need to
syn them)
Lemon – vanilla yoghurt and lemon essence –
syn free (you can add a few blueberries too)
