Pizza on a Wrap – Syn Free

This pizza is probably the most flexible meal you can make.  Perfect for picky families and friends!  I don’t say you have to have it my way, I don’t know many people that would want tuna and prawns on a pizza but it's a thing - trust me and there's so many options that you can make loads up at once and everyone's happy!

You can of course have whatever you want on your pizza but the basics will remain the same:

A weight watchers wrap is your HEB and as such syn free.  If you’ve eaten your HEB then it needs to be synned

Cheese can be one of your HEAs, if you’ve used them it needs to be synned but please check the app as it depends what cheese you have to what the syn value is

This is what I had on my pizza but as I’m not the pizza police feel free to make it exactly how you like it, just remember stuff like pepperoni needs to be synned.

Ingredients:

1 weight watchers wrap (HEB)
1 portion cheese (see above for syn comment)
Tomato paste
½ tin tuna
Prawns
Frozen sweetcorn, red onion, pepper
Dried Italian herbs
Red chilli flakes (optional)
Fresh basil (optional)

Method:

Pre heat the oven to 180

Put the wrap on a baking tray and pop in the oven for about 2 minutes, turn it and put it back in for another 2 or 3 minutes.  You want to slightly dry the wrap so it isn’t so soft

When you’re happy with the base spread tomato paste evenly across, make sure you cover the wrap
Add your toppings

Sprinkle with cheese and top with your dried herbs

Bake for approx. 25 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the toppings are hot

OR YOU CAN GRILL IT

This way is quicker but you need to be organised!

Make your salad or whatever you're having with your pizza and set to one side, once the pizza is ready you'll want to serve it immediately

Prepare your toppings by pan frying them using fry lite, this will pre-cook and heat what's going on the pizza

Put your wrap under the grill, it'll brown in about 3-4 minutes so watch it so it doesn't burn.  You want it to be golden brown and it will also be crisp

Take the wrap out and turn over so the uncooked side is facing up.  Spread a thin layer of tomato puree on and add your toppings being sure to spread evenly from edge to edge.  Sprinkle the cheese evenly over the toppings and add a few Italian herbs and red chilli flakesor fresh basil (if using).

Pop back under a medium heat grill until the cheese is melted, that should be 3-4 minutes

Serve immediately with your ready prepared salad or choice of sides
