I’ve called these pita chips as they’re not
really like crisps, they’re more like the baked crackers you can get so I
thought this was a better way to describe them
Flavour wise you can do what you like, I
went with a southern seasoning (it was at the front of the cupboard) but you can
literally use anything you have. Just
make sure you use plenty of it and fry lite too so they crisp up and taste
good!
One wrap is your HEB or 6 syns if you
already ate it, so the number of chips you eat is dependent on how many you get
from one wrap – if you cut your wrap into 25 triangles you will have 25 chips
for 6 syns or your HEB. Everything else
is syn free

Pita chips ready for seasoning! |
Spray lightly with frylite
Using whatever seasoning you want (I like
to use something that includes paprika as it adds colour as well as flavor)
sprinkle over the pieces of wrap and turn, keep turning until the bits are coated
evenly
Spray again with frylite, give them a good
covering
Place at the top of the oven for about 8-10
minutes until they start to crisp up
Take out of oven and turn, more frylite too
and put back for 3-5 minutes
Watch them on this second go as they’re almost
done and will go from crispy pita bites to burned nothings in about 10 seconds
flat
