Chocolate Chilli Bites

These little bites are such a favourite in my house, they’re little gooey bites of choclate-y goodness but with a kick and to have something like that when you’re eating healthily is just amazing

They’re less than a syn each (3/4 each to be exact) and are perfect when you need something that’s more like a standard cake texture

You can adjust the chilli to your personal taste but personally I like to throw in a few finely cut fresh chillis just to keep it interesting!

If you want to try the low syn chocolate chilli bites the recipe is here

Enjoy,

Syn free crustless quiche

There’s more than one way to make syn free crustless quiches and having pretty much tried them all over the years I think this is the best version

Syn free crustless quiche with salad
Personally, I HATE cottage cheese with a passion but I have to say when you blend it with the eggs you can’t tell what it is, it’s just a very good quiche filling and more like a traditional version than the milk/egg version one I do

You can add whatever filling you want to these, the basic recipe is the same and it just depends what you like and what you’ve got in the house.  I often do these to use up a load of bits in the fridge.

Recently I’ve made tuna and sweetcorn with mushrooms and a bacon/sausage with roasted veggie filling.  Obviously, you can made a vegetarian option if you prefer, mushroom is excellent as a filling as are roasted vegetables.

No matter what you prefer, these little crustless quiches are really quick, easy and make a great syn free lunch.  The recipe is here

Enjoy!

Low Syn Chicken & Chirozo Pie

This is not my usual super low syn meal.  This pie is a decadent serving of smoky, chicken, chirozo and cheesy goodness and it’s really tasty

Low syn chicken & chirozo pie
It’s 8 syns a serving but you could cut that in half by swapping chirozo for bacon and adding a little more paprika, I just didn’t want to!

Plus if I’m honest this pie could have fed two people, I didn’t finish it but half this size serving with boiled potatoes and a selection of your favourite veggies would have been fine, maybe a lunch portion but that again would bring the syns right down – but I didn’t do that either!

So, if like me you would like to try the 8 syns of yummy goodness in a pie that fills you up so much you can’t move the recipe is here.

Portion control is however another option, I didn't try that either 😊
Enjoy!
