Onion and Carrot Bhajis

I love curry and there are so many you can make on slimming world that it’s always been a go to favourite for me, especially pulled chicken tikka or kofta (meatball) curry but I’ve never done starters before.

My parents came over at the weekend and Mum’s always asking me what she can make that'll help me stay on track so we decided to set about and try the onion and carrot bhajis.  I was slightly scared when I saw the list of ingredients but don’t let it put you off, yes these do need a lot of spices but they taste exactly like you get from the Indian, just a LOT less oily.

The bhajis are 1 syn each as they have chickpea flour in but they're really worth it as you only have a few and the curry is usually syn free.  The perfect way to have a really tasty low syn dinner plus they heat up perfectly the next day for a lunchtime snack!

Happily I can report that the taste test with my parents and friends who had leftover was a success all round and this will absolutely be on our Boxing Day curry menu!

Give them a try, the recipe is here and I hope you enjoy as much as we did
