These are a twist on my Turkish Delight sweets that I created as I wanted to try something a little different in an attempt to curb my sweet tooth! They’re a very good, fresh flavour.
They taste great and are only 3.5 syns for all the sweets which will be about 40 or so
Ingredients:
1 sachet sugar free strawberry or raspberry jelly – 1.5 syns
Strawberry flavoring (baking aisle of most supermarkets)
2 sachets gelatin
11g or 1 sachet Cadburys white chocolate Options – 2 syns
Method
Put 150ml boiling water into a bowl, add jelly, 1 sachet of gelatin and three or four drops of strawberry essence. I use a balloon whisk to mix as it makes sure any lumps are quickly and easily broken down
Pour mixture into ice cube trays, filling each shape about halfway up and put in fridge to partially set which will take about 15-20 minutes. I put the ice cube trays on a tray or baking sheet to move them about more easily.
In a clean bowl, mix 150ml boiling water with your white chocolate Options and the second gelatin sachet
Pour the white chocolate mixture on top of the jelly, topping up the ice cube wells and leave to set
Makes about 40 jelly sweets
Should be ready in about 45 minutes
