I’ve made these before and the first time I
did they were much more rustic than this effort (aka blobs of mixture with
chocolate poured on top!) and I have to be honest, it was not my idea but someone
far smarter than me made them using heart shaped ice cube/jelly moulds. Just put some melted chocolate in the bottom
of each shape, squash in your ruffle mixture and press, it will force the
chocolate up the sides which ‘cover’ it.
Sort of covering in reverse!
This is definitely worth a try if you’ve
got a taster or are having people round or just was a really sweet hit.
