It’s a Wrap!

Valentines for me was my favourite food, pizza!  My Mum used to tell me it was all the food groups, which is technically correct but probably answers the questions about my ongoing weight loss journey.

Regardless, pizza on plan is my go-to meal and I actually prefer it on a wrap now as it’s crisp and not doughy.  I treated myself to pepperoni and onion, and synned the pepperoni.

I use the grill version when I made this as it’s quicker and I prefer the final pizza…it’s a really good choice when I’m working from home for a lunch too.

If you’d like to try the low syn or syn free (depending what you do with it!) pizza on a wrap the instructions are here

Enjoy!

Low Syn Chocolate (Weetabix) Donuts

So let me say first that this is 6 chocolate donuts for 2.5 syns.  Not sure I even need to say much more than that!

Yes they are squished Weetabix with chocolate and salted caramel flavours, yes they are my HEB but they’re donuts and that makes my dieting heart happy

The longer I do Slimming World, or any time I focus on reducing my weight, it couldn’t be more clear that the easiest way is for the food to look and taste good and not to make me feel like I’m missing out so today I didn’t care, I had six donuts and fruit for lunch and enjoyed it way more than just the two Weetabix, two eggs and some yoghurt that essentially it is.

This is insanely easy to make, if you’d like to try the recipe is here

Enjoy

Syn Free Baked Salmon with Soy, Lime & Chilli with Crushed Garlic Baby Potatoes

I was lucky enough to have dinner at Miller & Carter the other day and usually I go for a steak as it’s syn free but the lovely lady said there was a salmon special with potatoes and a lobster and prosecco sauce.  Clearly I went for that and it was amazing, but as we know there wasn’t a syn friendly thing on that plate once the salmon had been pan fried and everything had a touch of oil so I decided to recreate as best I can but making into an everyday meal

This salmon is baked with soy, lime and chilli to give a really good taste which is different to pan frying but the potatoes and veggies are true to the meal I had

It is absolutely delicious and one of my go to meals, I highly recommend you try it!

Low Syn Strawberry & White Chocolate Jellies

At only 3.5 syns for @40 jellies, these sweets are absolutely perfect if you miss Haribos or any jelly type sweets.  There are a few different flavour combinations to choose from, but this is a really good choice, sweet and you can absolutely taste the white chocolate.  Plus you can eat them all without even a hint of guilt!

Syn Free Seafood Stir Fry

This is a go to choice for me when I’ve a load of random leftovers in the fridge and no real idea what to do with them.  I happened to have cod in the fridge but you could use prawns, chicken or any vegies you have to hand….it’s very forgiving
